NASA and other space institutions to host Hackathon in June
NASA, ESA, and Jaxa have announced it will host Hackathon to study the environment of Covid-19 environment. Hackathon will run from June 23 to June 29 and officially called Hackathon Dashboard Observation Earth. Throughout the world, many countries have taken similar steps in responding to the Covid-19 pandemic, including large-scale locking and mass dissemination of private protective equipment such as masks.
This locking and the spread of protection equipment has environmental impacts. NASA, ESA, and Jaxa are hosting contests that will utilize strong earth observation devices. Virtual events will see participants creating teams and trying to solve various socio-economic and environmental challenges using dashboard data collected during a pandemic.
Open registration, and NASA said all coders, entrepreneurs, scientists, designers, storytellers, makers, builders, artists, and technology were encouraged to participate. Challenge topics include air and water quality, economic, social, agricultural impacts, greenhouse gas effects, and the impact of interconnected earth systems. NASA said Hackathon was launched a year after agents introduce the earth to observe the dashboard.
The dashboard is an interactive data resource that provides policy and public makers with tools to investigate short-term and long-term impacts of restrictions related to the pandemic carried out throughout the world. Participants in the event will be able to interact with experts from the three space agencies through chat channels and suggest a solution to increase the dashboard. The event was the NASA-LED initiative organized in collaboration with Booz Allen Hamilton, Mindgrub, and SecondMuse.
More details about events that he can find on the official website. In many countries in the US, pandemics and restrictions related to Covid-19 began loosening because more people were inoculated against viruses. In many countries, individuals who are fully inoculated longer must use a mask.
