Rumors claim Amazon want to buy MGM film studios
Interesting rumors of floating reportedly come from industrial sources who are familiar with negotiations between Amazon and Iconic Movie Studio MGM. According to sources, Amazon and MGM have negotiated for weeks on an agreement that can see Amazon by a $ 9 billion film studio. The past reports have suggested that Amazon and other technology companies circulate MGM in an effort to buy a film studio.
Amazon looking to buy a major film studio like MGM is not a real surprise because it currently makes many films and TV shows itself. Sources in the industry said that the agreement was driven by Senior VP Amazon Studios and the main video of Mike Hopkins, who was speaking directly with the Chairman of the MGM Council Kevin Ulrich.
It was confirmed in December 2020 that MGM was looking for buyers. While the sources told the variation that the agreement was worth $ 9 billion, another rumor had suggested purchases can cost Amazon costs between $ 7 billion and $ 10 billion. Some sources believe MGM is only worth around $ 5 billion.
Amazon certainly has money to finance a massive purchase that boasts more than 200 million major members around the world who pay every month or annual service.
