Twitter has paused public verification
Only eight days after announcing restarting the old Bluecheck verification process, Twitter announced on Friday that sorry, has been flooded with requests and while ignoring new applications from users until the backlog has been handled.
Until this past, Twitter did not allow public members to submit verification at the site since the start of the Trump administration (after they went and verified the actual Nazi). In December, the company applies new rules for who can be verified and what the Twitter verification process is. Journalists, brands, government officials, activists, and other publicly recognizable personality must be traced quickly for approval by assuming they can provide evidence – in the form of government IDs, Mashead companies or professional profiles that refer their social grip – that they are Do we think they are.
There is no word from the company but when the process can be reopened to new applicants even though we have a pinky that is legally binding to swear that it will eventually happen.
