Destiny 2 Cross-Play Beta starts next week: what you need to know
Earlier this month, several lucky fate players 2 got a glimpse that cross-play functionality was heading to the game, but when playing cross was sent directly as part of a bug, it quickly clawed from Bungie. If it makes you, as a player of Destiny 2 with friends scattered on the platform, sad, then this is the good news: Cross-Play will soon return to Destiny 2 for a limited time beta test, and this time it will occur as deliberately.
Yes, while the short assignment of cross-play availability earlier this month is because of a bug, it seems that Bungie is ready now start testing the features. Destiny 2 Cross-Play Beta will be aired on May 25 and runs until May 27, gives players a few days to test it. Cross-Play will be available on Playstation, Xbox, Steam, and Stadia Destiny version 2.
One of the important things that needs to be considered is that beta cross-play will be limited to the Special Special Vanguard Cross-Play Playlist. The good news is that this playlist will be available for every single destiny player, so you don’t need to do anything to be accepted into beta – if you play Destiny 2, then enter you to beta will be automatic.
Unfortunately, this beta is limited in more ways than just limited to one play list. For this test, you will not be able to form Fireteam and you will not be able to send invitations to your friends. The goal, it seems, only to test matchmakers with beta, even though we imagine we will see a test that allows you to form Fireteams with friends in the future.
Everyone who completes three strikes in the playlist will make the stars cross the symbol, which is described in the picture above. Beta is announced in Destiny 2 Bungie updates, so be sure to provide more information about what is in front.
