Most of the new NVIDIA RTX GPU gaming will be limited to Crypto-Limited
Lack of GPU and increased prices have become a by-product of cryptomining growth. Needless to say, it was bad news for gamers who formed most of the computing industry customer base. To help solve some side demand problems, Nvidia has created a special GPU for professional miners and divides two levels of hashes for the RTX 3060 card. Now, it expands the capacity limit for more GeForce chips in an effort to free its products for gamers.
The company has announced that it will implement a reduced level of hash ethereum for GeForce RTX 3080 graphics cards, RTX 3060 and RTX 3060 and RTX 3060. You will be able to see the card, which starts to be sent at the end of May, with “Lite Hash Rate” or “LHR “Label on the product list and in physical boxes. Nvidia said the change would not affect the GPU that had been purchased.
“We believe this additional step will get more geforce cards at a better price in gamers everywhere,” said the company in a blog post.
Nvidia’s efforts in troubleshooting were not really successful. Earlier this year, it flipped down at the RTX 3060 card hash level limit by releasing the driver’s destructive driver update, before fixing it again. (Those who want to mine can remain with the driver who is not cheated wrong.)
The company’s offer to directly target the crowd of Crypto mining may have been better. It launched four Cryptocurrency (CMP) mining processors in February, including 30HX, 40HX, 50HX, and 90HX, which starts from $ 599. Nvidia said estimating quarterly income from cards to $ 150 million, three times its own estimation.
