NASA Rocket Kinet-X can be launched today
NASA will launch rockets from Wallops Island facilities in Virginia yesterday, Saturday, May 15. However, NASA was forced to rub his launch because the sky was cloudy above Bermuda. The cancellation of the launch on Saturday is about a straight week that NASA has been forced to cancel the launch due to weather and the problem of launch support.
NASA’s rocket wants to be launched called Kinet-X, and NASA has said that the next launch opportunity is no earlier than 8:04 a.m., May 16. NASA also notes that Sunday will be the last chance to launch for the mission. Kinet-X is a different type of mission from NASA usually doing because rockets will launch a high steam tracker in the atmosphere designed to learn the wind.
NASA said that scientists used steam trackers, especially to study atmospheric winds in the upper atmosphere and ionosphere. When the tracker was released after the launch, they made it possible to observe the wind directly. NASA said the steam was released dangerous at an altitude of 217 to 249 miles above the surface of the planet.
Another interesting tipbit about the mission is that the steam tracker used in rockets is the same type that makes colorful fireworks. The agency notes that all the ingredients used in steam trackers are harmless to humans. No doubt, there will be many people on land waiting for this special mission due to colorful steam trackers.
NASA said people in Bermuda would have the best view to see a colorful tracker, but Central Florida will also have the opportunity to see the tracker depending on the weather. If the rocket can be launched, the audience must look low on the horizon, east between 90 seconds and two minutes after being launched. Trackers can be seen from Maine to Central Florida and so far on land as the Mississippi River.
